Towards the bottom of this article from the San Francisco Chronicle it states that Karen Brown is heading to the Oakland Ballet...

I havent heard anything formal about this, as to if this is a permanent move, or when it will be happening. Maybe someone else will have...?

Ed, Karen Brown has been AD of the Oakland Ballet since 2000.

ohhhhh, I was at the Kansas City Ballet's summer program and she was director there, it seemed to me that she was there year round, i must have been mistaken. (could there be two Karen Brown's?)
