I'm trapped in Arizona but have means to get to LA. I heard that Ethan Stiefel is taking over as AD at Ballet Pacifica, so that's cool for this side of the US. Last year, ABT was in LA for Romeo and Juliet (which i unfotunatley missed) and Miami City Ballet came to Tucson for Coppelia nad Mixed program. I'm wondering if anything "good" is coming this way in 2005 for me to keep an eye out for.

Have you gone to see Ballet Arizona yet? In the last year, I've seen several outstanding performances, particularly of the mixed Balanchine reps programs and La Sylphide. And I've been hoping that someone besides me would post reviews about Company performances

American Ballet Theatre will be at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion at the Music Center in Los Angeles April 27 - May 1 doing Giselle and Tchaikovsky repertory.
