Inspired by BalletNut's thread and not to distract from it (keep posting there, too!).

Which dancers would you choose to play the roles in your favorite movies? Or simply roles you think they'd be great in, or that you'd just love to see. smile.gif

I wonder what a young Miranda Weese would be like in "Breakfast at Tiffany's."

Not Hollywood per se, but I could see Muriel Maffre or Tina LeBlanc on Saturday Night Live. Back when it was funny, of course. wink1.gif
Mashinka
Gediminas Taranda as Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights.
canbelto
Irina Dvorovenko as Scarlett. She has dark hair, green eyes, and is definitely a minx!
Alina Cojocaru as Melanie.
Irek Mukhamedov as Rhett.
Erik Bruhn as Ashley.
Helene
I don't think anyone could surpass Isuzu Yamada in Throne of Blood, but if I were going to do an American re-make, my Lady MacBeth would be Ariana Lallone.

Gediminas Taranda as Carl Magnus in Smiles of a Summer Night
Gediminas Taranda as Octave in Rules of the Game
Gediminas Taranda as Kyuzo in The Seven Samurai
Gediminas Taranda as Bouchard in Paper Wedding
Gediminas Taranda in any part he wants to play.
