Some interesting news that I found on the Russian Kultura TV webpage:

http://www.tvkultura.ru/news.html?id=67596&cid=42

On October 25, 2005, the Kremlin Ballet will present the premiere of Andris Liepa's staging of the Diaghilev-Fokine-Bakst ballet, 'Le Dieu Bleu,' produced by the Kremlin Ballet and staged in the Great Kremlin Palace Theater. The production will star Bolshoi principal Nikolai Tsiskaridze in the title role that was made famous by Nijinsky. Liepa has had to rethink most of the ballet, as no notes survive. He used the many known poses, saved in photos, and has conceived a new ballet in the spirit of Fokine. However, the production will feature fabulous reproductions of the original Bakst designs.

The evening will also include a revival of Liepa's staging of 'Firebird.' Ilze Liepa will join Tsiskaridze as guest soloist, dancing with the Kremlin Ballet's troupe.
coda
Andris Liepa is acting here as the producer but the choreography will be by a former Royal Ballet’s Principal and the new Artistic Director of the English National Ballet Wayne Eagling.
Eagling said: “It will be modern choreography based on classical steps. And a lot of Indian influence.”

That's interesting, coda. Do you know if this staging has already been presented elsewhere? (in the UK, for ex.)
coda
No, as far as I know it is absolutely new. There was of course a Fokine's production but nothing is left from it apart from several photographs of Nijinsky. Therefore, the Eagling's choreography has to start from scratch.
