The Kirov's own Victoria Tereshkina & Dmitri Semionov won top honors at the 2006 "Arabesque International Ballet Competition" in Perm, Russia. Specifically, they won the Maximova-Vasiliev Trophy for the Best Duo. Hearty Congratulations to both of them!

Interestingly, the two other main prizes of the event -- the Makarova Trophy for Best Solo Female and the Baryshnikov Trophy for the Best Solo Male -- were not awarded this year.
