I'm a ex-Trock from the late 1970's. I still dance with the local company, taking class, choreographing and doing character roles.
I'm schedule to dance Gamache in _Don Q_ this May.
I'll just lurk around for a while.

Hello Everyone,
I'm new as well! I'm a former dancer, who happened upon this site not long ago so I decided not to lurk anymore.

Welcome out of the shadows, mbdance. I look forward to your contributions.
Old Trock, you too! The former (and present ) dancers on the board bring special insight born of their experience to this board. Nice to have new voices.
And let us know how your Gamache goes.
Good to have you both here.

Hello, instead of creating a new topic, I am posting on this thread... I'm new here, but I have been dancing ballet since I was 2 years old. My mom took me to my cousin's ballet class and I just started to dance with them. The teacher tried to stop me but I cried and begged him to let me join them...

Boy, talk about a "baby ballerina (ballerino?)". Anyway, welcome emies5.
I didn't notice this post until today. (I guess there are real advantages to starting a thread of one's own on "Welcome" -- it guarantees you additional readers!)
