Has anyone see either a performance of these - live or on the VAI dvd? I would like to know more about these two works.

I've seen Fragments of a Biography pas de deux danced by Anastasia Volochkova and Mark Peretokin. The first time I saw it was on video, part of the celebrations for Maximova's anniversary performance, it was Spanish/South American in style with Volochkova in a flamenco-style dress, but the music was clearly tango rather than flamenco. It was a very tense but sensual piece and on video it was danced superbly by both dancers. I saw it live a couple of years later in London as part of one of Volochkova's ego-evenings. This time it didn't look so good and I detected some changes, including Volochkova not wearing the man's hat that she wore in the video. Clearly the filmed performance took place under Vasiliev's eagle eye whereas the London performance did not.
