The announcer on the Romeo + Juliet telecast called her Sterling HillTEEN, Can that be correct?
Balanchinomane
Yes - rhymes with Saltine. During the intermission of the R+J premiere 2 years ago,
I overheard a man refer to her as Paris Hilton's sister. A woman interrupted - and said
her name is HYLTEEN. The man said to her "How do you know?" The woman replied
"Because I'm her mother."

Thanks for the unimpeachable source, Balanchinomane!

not that further info is needed but when SH was given the J.Levin award her father was introduced as hilTEEN.

I've heard the dancer refer to herself as Hil-TEEN, but then, she probably learned that from the woman cited by Balanchinomane. wink1.gif

Am I right in assuming that "Sterling" is pronounced in the conventional fashion? I mean, it's not Ster-LING or anything, is it? wink1.gif

She says her own name at the end of the interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQB2iRvdptk

Thanks, cinnamonswirl. She does not accentuate the second syllable in her name, so it's very subtle.
