Altynai Assyluratova gave this interview and what she says in it about todays dancers is so true....I hope Im not the only one who feels the ballerinas of today are way to "rythmic gymnist"-like to the extreme. CHECK IT OUT...........

It's a good commonsensical article revealing the thoughts of a great ballerina who's "been there, done that" and is entitled to view with alarm tendencies which endanger classicism in ballet. Her desire to keep the old methods and standards, which are known to work, while still moving forward into the twenty-first century, is highly commendable! Would that there were more like her, in positions to make things happen!smile.gif
